Have your business been around for more than 6 months? More than 6 years? GREAT! You know what to blog about. My role is to help you access your ideas.
1—Start with the conversations you have daily. What are the top questions your visitors ask you? Every business has those “frequently asked questions”. Answer them in a blog post. There you are 5 or 10 posts that your visitors will find useful.
2—Next, what are the questions you WISH they’d ask? For me, it’s usually something like “how will optimizing my website bring me more clients?” or “how will social media benefit my business?” Those are big questions and they vary for each client but I usually answer an element of them in my posts. Such as this one answering, “What Should I Blog About?”
3—Peak behind the scenes—What’s a typical day in the life of a fitness trainer, a marketer, an insurance adjuster? What about the other people on your team? What are their days like? Don’t be afraid to show a little personality in your blog posts. That makes you human. People like to do business with other humans.
By now, I hope you’re getting some ideas about what YOU can blog about. You don’t have to be “perfect”. Just get started. You’ll learn along the way.
